R Digital is excited to share its latest Case Study of digital advertising services for Cyprus Airways, a project that we undertook in collaboration with the White Socks Creative Company.
Cyprus Airways is a Cypriot-based airline known for its quality service and the variety of destinations it travels to. The airline has been providing passengers with comfortable and safe flights for years now.
Working closely together with the airliner and the White Socks Creative Company, the aim of our digital agency was and still is to reach a wider audience to offer them the unique travel destinations the carrier currently travels to and from, to enhance the digital presence of Cyprus Airways and to subsequently boost online air ticket sales.
Our team of experts works closely with Cyprus Airways to identify new opportunities within their target audience and develop a bespoke digital advertising plan that would effectively reach them, through a holistic approach.
our approach
Our initial step was to do extensive research to understand the airline’s goals and values, as well as the needs of its target audience. We determined that the best course of action would be to develop a comprehensive digital marketing plan that included a mix of both paid and organic strategies using Google Ads Network and of course, Social Media.
Our Google Search campaigns were designed to target users who were actively searching for flights or researching travel options on Google. We used targeted, localised keywords and ad copy to ensure that our ads were being shown to users who were most likely to be interested in Cyprus Airways flights.
Our Google Display campaigns, on the other hand, were designed to reach users who were browsing websites related to travel or other relevant topics. We used eye-catching visuals and localised content provided by the White Socks Creative Company, to capture users’ attention and encourage them to visit Cyprus Airways’ website or check the latest offers. Both of these campaigns were closely monitored and optimised to ensure that they were delivering the best possible results.
We also developed social media remarketing campaigns that targeted users who had already interacted with Cyprus Airways. Our team developed custom audiences based on users who had visited the Cyprus Airways website or engaged with their social media content. This approach allowed us to re-engage users who had shown an interest in the airline and encourage them to book a flight or learn more about Cyprus Airways’ services.
results
Over Google Search, Display and Social Media ads, we were able to achieve a high level of engagement and conversion rates.
Our team managed to reach a significant KPI of 2% CTR on social media with an average CPC (Cost per click) of €0.06
On Google Search campaign a very high CTR of 58% and a 9% conversion rate were achieved while the Google Display campaign reached a 2.5% conversion rate.
